PIG BANK for homeless dreams

idealistic elimination game meets interactive democracy 

PIG BANK is about people with dreams and the difficulties of democratic decision-making. A heartwarming knockout race in which you decide who will go through to the next round and can make his or her dream come true!

Six candidates, each with a story about how a relatively small amount of money could change their lives and with that the world, are competing to get a micro gift from the audience.

Will it be the seventeen year old break-dancer András Greguss who without the help of the audience can’t go to his dance classes and therefore risks becoming a criminal? Or will it be Thijs van den Berg who without support of the PIG BANK cannot fly the kite with mentally challenged kids anymore. On a big interactive screen we can see their stories and how a relatively small amount can change their lives.

Which one of the candidates should we support? The weakest one or the one with the highest potential to realize his or her plan? What is a fair decision and what justifies it?

Throughout the game, in the safety-zone of the theatre, the audience is in charge.
